The Department of Language Teaching and Continuing Education is dedicated to advancing professional excellence and linguistic proficiency through two divisions:
Department of Language Teaching
The language division provides high-quality linguistic instruction tailored to diverse academic and professional needs:
- Bulgarian as a foreign language: Specialized courses for international students and foreign residents living in Bulgaria.
- Academic communication: Expert training for university faculty to enhance their foreign language proficiency within academic environment.
- General language courses: A variety of language programmes offered to the general public.
Department of Continuing Education
The department facilitates the ongoing professional development of pedagogical specialists through a comprehensive range of qualification programmes. It aims to enhance the competencies of educators through:
- One-year courses for the third professional qualification degree, as well as preparatory courses for the first through fifth degrees.
- Short-term, credit-bearing courses essential for pedagogical career advancement.
Course topics include, but are not limited to, specialized training in the integration of artificial intelligence in education, the STE(A)M approach, the cultivation of moral values, creativity in education.
